| Season / Crop | Months | Activity | Experience |
| Virippu (monsoon crop) | July–August | Paddy transplanting | Guests wade into monsoon-fed fields and plant young paddy saplings by hand, the traditional Kerala method |
| Puncha (winter crop) | January | Sickle harvesting | Guests participate in harvesting mature paddy stalks, fields turn golden; the most visually dramatic stage of the cultivation cycle |
The paddy fields at Green Tsavorite Farm are part of a working 7-acre organic permaculture property, not a demonstration plot. The cultivation is chemical-free, the crop is real, and the participation is hands-on. This is structurally different from a resort with a decorative paddy display.
Guests who participate in paddy activities at Green Tsavorite Farm eat Kerala cuisine prepared from the same agricultural land they worked in completing the farm-to-table loop from cultivation to communal meal. Meals include traditional Kerala rice preparations cooked without artificial colours or additives. The outdoor cooking experience connects the paddy field directly to the kitchen.
